I got in just fine again, must be AOL! I copied and pasted the details of what she had listed. I'm going to go carefully browse the catalogs now and look for pictures!

When Molly was first introduced in 1986, her glasses were a little different than the ones today. This change, which took place in the late 1980?s, is seen primarily in the ear pieces, instead of curving around behind the ear the ear pieces go straight over the top of the ear. This was done because of the variety of head molds for the dolls. For instance Molly?s glasses that curve around behind her ear do not fit on Addy who has an elongated head.
In 1999 Molly?s brown bag lunch was changed to a red lunch box. The old version came with a set of ten paper bags and ten paper napkins. The lunch box today still comes with ten paper napkins.
Molly?s Christmas collection seems to have undergone the most changes through the years. The Evergreen Velvet dress originally had no buttons going down the front and the lace was a little larger and stiffer looking. Yet another version is the one in my collection which was purchased in the 90?s. It has no buttons but the lace is different than the lace either in the first version or in the current version. The buttons were added to Molly?s dress in 1994.

Molly?s nurse doll has also changed some over the years. The first version had short curly hair and eyes that opened and closed. Her shoes were black, her cape didn?t have the blue edging, and she had no bag. The old version also had a little bit larger hat. Molly?s first nurse doll seems to me to be a more authentic reproduction of the dolls that were made in the 40?s. The current one seems more like a modern style doll because of the painted on eyes. This change took place in 1993.
The snow globe which comes with Molly?s nurse doll has also undergone some un-improvements. The original snow globe was round and made of glass with a real wooden base. The one today has an oblong shaped globe made of plastic with a red plastic base. The snowman itself has also changed and seems cheesier. The snow globe changed in 1994.
Finally, the ballerina doll has undergone a few changes, as well. The first doll was made of wood with shoulder length wood hair. Her arms were formed in sharp angles, one up and one down. She wore a magenta leotard with matching pink lace tutu. The version from the 90?s, which I have, is different again. This ballerina has her hair up in a bun with a feather, rhinestone and gold band decoration. She wears a blue leotard and a white satin tutu with a rose on the back. Her arms are both up and her elbows are rounded instead of pointy. Finally the current version is a combination of the tow previous versions. Her hair is in a bun but she is wearing a pink outfit again. This ballerina is so far the most ?human looking.? Her head is at a slight tilt and she has her hands clasped in front. This final change took place in 1993.

Just one thing: the glasses. I got Molly late 1994/early 1995. She came with the "old" glasses. When my cousin stepped on them and we had to order a replacement, they sent the "new" kind. So I think the change in the glasses was made quite a bit later than you said here.
